Your Child is Important

Quality of care is of the utmost importance and is the top priority for our center. 

As with all licensed daycares, we all must abide by the rules set out by the Ministry of Children and Family Development.   These rules are set out to ensure your children are well cared for and protected at all times while in our care.

Thus, we at The Shaughnessy Heights Early Centre Society (SHELCS) will only utilize licensed educators to be in ratio as according to the Ministry of Children and Family Developments rules and guidelines.  Volunteers are not utilized to achieve the proper ratio of educators to children.
